Patient 1: Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

48-year-old female

This 48-year-old female patient is new to the practice. She had kept to a 6-month recall in the past, however, her last cleaning was Jan/Feb 2020 - 1 year ago. She mentions that she never has bleeding gums or inflammation. Furthermore, she has generalized recession of 3-4 mm which equals a CAL of at least 7 mm. She has very sensitive roots despite generalized cervical fillings. She has moderate interdental plaque accumulation with supra deposits on her lower anteriors. Marginal inflammation is present despite the recession. Her medical history is clear of any chronic conditions, and she takes no medication regularly.
