Patient 2: Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

65-year-old male

This 65-year-old male patient is a regular patient. He currently keeps to a 4-month recall schedule. His medical history shows high blood pressure as a chronic condition with medication to control it. He has poor plaque control, bleeding gums, both marginal and interdental inflammation and Grade I-II furcation involvement. He has 2-3 mm recession in the posterior regions. The patient also has a history of non-surgical periodontal treatment.
